The Building Block School for the Arts was found in 2016 by founders Sherry Johnson and Susan Manning.

We created this school because Matinee Mini’s Children’s theater needed its own space to grow and continue educating young performers in the performing arts. Sherry Johnson and Kim Campbell were also teachers in a homeschool program which concentrated on arts and hands on learning. It only seemed logical to combine the two. Since then we have grown our homeschool arts to nearly full capacity and we now have three levels of performing arts as well as a dinner theatre where our grown ups can perform and enjoy a wonderful evening of entertainment.

We offer classes in theatre, improv, science, art, music, cooking, literature as well as performances right here in Maury County Tennessee.
